Cocodrie lake near turkey creek

Has anyone been out to cocodrie lake was thinking of going try tomm
just curios if anyone has been out there

I went there yesterday. You can catch a boat load of white perch, but they area all small. I caught about 60 and kept 29 small scalers about bream size. It is fun though. I fished the main channel with a cork and blue/white jig. I did speak to some people that were catching big numbers of bream.

I too spoke to someone today who told me an old man caught over 50 last week in the main channel on jigs. Bream and goggle eye were also being caught on crickets and worms off the main channel. I am supposed to go to Toledo Bend tomorrow for the day, but I feel like going to cocodrie now. If I can convince my fishing partner.
