Had to work for them. Finished with a mixed bag of 15. Threw back at least 20. Fished deep around the houseboat in the middle of the lake.

I wouldn't have a problem with that

I do shift work. So I'm fortunate to go on my days off during the week. We had to fish hard for them. Tried force feeding them those jigs, but they just would catch on.A guide that was fishing near us using shiners was tearing 'em up. I bet he kept 30-40. When I cleaned the fish this morning, they were in poor shape. Their fat stores around the stomach were gone and they were real thin from the belly back to the tail. Looks like the spawn was ruff on 'em. Probably why they wanted shiners.
