LOP Thursday

Made a trip to LOP today, first trip in quite a while. got to the launch a little after 8, fishing by 8:30, pretty cold start. Started out with a few good size fish, thought it was gonna be a really good day, then slowed from there. My fishing partner and I wound up with 22, all but 6 were very good fish, caught about 25 yellow bass, most all fish caught in 28-32ft on shiners. Not a lot of boats early, left about 2:30 quite a few boats out by midday. Hopefully the bite will pick up in the next few weeks. Hope it was not my fishing skills that made for a slow day!

Hey MM,
We didn't get there until about 11am because my bro-in-law kept me up until about 1am last night trying to get his sxSide unstuck.
We didn't catch much, either, and stayed until probably 4:30. The fishing was extremely slow for us today.
Here's a pic of one of my dad's fish--I like the white's the best, but we're catching a lot of blacks this year!
I was in my brown and white '76 eldocraft Hawg trough with a 65hp merc on the back. There were 3 of us including my 11 yr. old son.
I remember 2 guys in a blue/white ranger with a merc on the back, and a sky blue older boat similar to mine. One of those you?

that was me in the blue ranger with 150 merc, I didn't know what kinda rig you were in but after you described it I do remember seeing the three of you, think you might of waved to us as we were leaving, next time I see you on the water I'll holler, hoping to go back jn about a week, thinking they will be turning on soon, good luck!
