    Default Bonnet Carrie Spillway

Looking to see if anyone been doing any good in the Bonnet Carrie. I drove out there last week before front came in but saw 7 trailers at the 1st launch. Met one fisherman who caught two keeper bass and a few catfish. The storm hit it hard but I wanted to see if any sacs been caught. Any info would be appreciated. Thinking about going Friday.

I did not get any response, but wanted to give an update. I caught three small bass and five bluegill/brim. Not one sac. I am gonna try again this weekend. I went to tributary under I55 bridge between Laplace and Hammond and did not get a bite. Water looked good but was low. Issac seem to have destroyed that small fishery for awhile.

Nah. They're there somewhere around you queyit. Or maybe I'm wrong.
But there's some not far from u when you get the travel time. I remember you just purchasing a flat from a while back. Bunch of bank spots over by Venetian isles that have been getting specks. I know a lil bit bout the Northshore sacs if you'll send a PM. I tell you what I know.

Micropterus salmoides ...you are correct they definitely are around. I talked to a guy at the LaPlace side launch Wednesday evening and he showed me 8 sacs that he caught using shiners.... The issue is likely my sac fishing skills...I'm working on them!

I will shoot you a PM and I appreciate the response...

This guy!!! Seems I remember someone else liking sammiches more than me…

I'm not giving reports, I'm giving him spots. And you already know all the spots. Besides the lil ponds with the 3lb fish that us lowly pond hoppers have to endure. :P
