I sure hope that sort of luck changes for the better soon. I'm aching to go out there for a week but will wait until I start seeing some decent 'catching' reports from the Bayou Corne area

Was strange being the ONLY truck at the ramp this morning. Water level=almost perfect. Water condition=almost perfect. Water temp=70 degrees. So where's all the fish???
Fished all the way to Bay Alcide and threw almost every color we had. I didn't even see a nibble. Not even a perch! Nada, zilch! We fished from the bank to the middle and everywhere in between. Patrick caught a choupique, gar and one sac. The gar was foul hooked in the fin so that didn't count. Caught all on pink/pink.
Got caught by the rain about 11 am, then lightning started so we left. Not good in aluminum boat.
I even threw a few bass baits with no luck. Top water, spinners and soft plastics. I'm still scratching my head. Saw one boat all day and he came from the lake side. It's been a long, long time since I was totally skunked. But it was still a good day.

The efects of Issac?
Hey Pbouy,
I went to crakerhead on Saturday, same thing.
The water was decent, I had shiners.
I fished some really nice tree tops, caught one nice one and that's it......
Can't explain it.
there were 4 or 5 boats in crackerhead, we met up with each other several times during the day, not much to report.
If you think there isn't a God, you better be right!
