Hit the water about 0745, a bit warmer than it has been. Launched by dam and just drifted around there spider rigging. Action was a bit slower than my last few trips and size not as good. I wonder if this warm snap moved them around a little. Left around 1:30 or so with 37. Threw back many many small ones. Caught some as shallow as 14 feet, but most around 16 with shiners and spider rigging. Lots of boats out today. Some of the fish are really fattening up as opposed to my last few catches. Several wide shoulders on the few big ones I had. Aslo caught a lot more black crappie than I am used to out there. I had to get out my GPS and make sure I wasn't on Caddo!!!
