Flatfoot, 8 is better than none. It's always nice to be out on the water.

Went to the bayou Saturday and Monday caught 3 Saturday and 5 Monday mostly worked on my tan. All were in 2 to 4' of water. Water temperature was 89 and outside temperature was about 100. The water was muddy but don't know why since it hasn't rained in a while. It was good to get back out on the water.

"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
Flatfoot, it was slow for us monday as well. We only caught 10 but dad caught a 10 pound flathead on a crappie jig, not sure whats up with the fish right now but 90 degree water is not helping, they don't seem to be in there usual holes and the fish seem to be running smaller this year than in years past.....
I was about 3 miles from joe bobs. I tried the deep tops and stump fields not much luck. There were some guys I talked to catching bass.
The muddy water is coming from the bean fields
