Had the same thing happen to me last fall. It's a sickening feeling I know. I hope you find it and better yet the person who had the nerve to do something like that. I know had I caught em, stealing our wheeler would not have been worth their while anymore. Goodluck

boy if there is one thing i hate it is a thief. i'm pretty sure the punishment they use in the middle east of cutting off one hand would keep a lot of this from happening in USA. good luck and i really hope they find your bike and the scumbag that did this.

Did you have any insurance? I've had fishing equipment stolen right in front of a house I used to rent and the tackle boxes alone had around a thousand dollars worth of lures plus the rod and reels around $600 worth. Never found them and the police came out and did a report but he said that honestly they hardly ever find the stuff. Big things like atv's they can send the serial numbers and descriptions to local pawnshops on a monthly hotlist of stolen items but many times people steal this stuff for their own personal use.

It's a shame you can't park your boat or atv in front of your own house anymore. When I go on vacation now I leave my boat parked at a relatives house because I'm afraid I'll come home to find the trolling motor stolen and the fishfinders gone. I lock my fishing equipment up in a seperate shed now but it's a pity I can't leave it in my boat.

Do you live on a highway where there is a lot of traffic or in a neighborhood or out in the country? Reason I ask is because if you live on a road where there is basically only local traffic then more than likely it was someone within a few miles of you. Now if that is the case, then ask yourself where you can go locally to ride ATV's and I bet if they just stole it they might be out this weekend riding it around. If it were me, I'd be driving around my local neighborhoods looking carefully and I'd make some flyers with the description of the trailer and ATV with pics if you can and I'd hang them on every lightpole for 3-4 miles around my home.
Someone could of been coming home from work or the grocery store and seen the thieves pulling your ATV. If someone saw it being pulled behind a truck that day then even if all they remember is it was a red or blue truck then that color might help you find it. You never know, they could remember more than that, like maybe they had to slow down because someone hauling an ATV that day was turning into a driveway right in front of them and because they had to slow to an almost stop for them, they might remember the description of the truck they were driving or what driveway they turned into.

Good luck finding your bike.. Awhile back, there were lots of them being stolen from around here and they were hauling them out of state and selling them. If I am not mistaken, Texas highway patrol can pull you over just to check if you have the paperwork on the bike you are hauling and if you don't, I think they hold them til the paperwork is presented. I heard they caught a few of the theives this way.

thanks for all the replys. it is infuriating to have something stolen from you. it would have been nice to catch them in the act so i could have introduced them to my .357 untill S.O. showed up.
anyway, i have put out many posters with pic in a 30 mile radius from my home in country stores, newspaper adds, forums, etc.
probably will never see the bike and trailer again. will need another before i retire on Darbonne next fall. can't wait.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    again thanks.

Hope they get caught and you get your stuff back. Scum...nothing but low-life scum.
