For here, blacks in brush, bc their diet here is more crawfish n small bugs.... have seen em even loaded with water fleas sometimes.
"Open" water here is bigger minners. Bigger fish so to speak and see whites like the larger meal.
Anything more than 6 dorsal spines is black and what I catch on the Pearl most often.
I like the white days.
Golden sacs are the best days.

They ALL taste good...especially FRESH crappie.....blacks...whites ...racers.....who cares...we eat all of em
