Trolling motor going to the Doctor tommorow

Don't want another motor guide trolling motor,when it was 6 months old in was in the shop now looks like it will be again. Batteries were charged up full charge fished about 2 hours and it started getting week on 5 it acted like it was on 2 finaly ran battery down. So I had the brialent idea to put the wires on the outboard battery fished about 10 min. ran like it should. Stop fishing started to crank outboard battery was dead. It must be something wrong with the trolling motor drawing the battery's down. I had batterys checked they said nothing wrong with them. How did I get to launch a friend was fishing clost to me and he had some jumper cables and jumped me off.

I caught 5 crappie using shiners on Black Bayou in Hoston fished around every cypress tree thair.

What do yall think about trolling motor.

my first MG I got in 1995....it did pretty good for 10 years but plug went bad from use so not to bad.....so I bought a MG 82# digital touring edition for more power....it went out at 2 years old.....got it repaired (water in lower housing)........so I sold my boat and kept the trolling motor as a spare.....new boat had a 70# so I swapped them out after 2 years for the additional power.....used the repaired one 5 times (since the repair) and it went out again.....now this is a $900 TM I am having trouble with....I really just don't like much of anything with MG....they seem to be built cheaply....sometimes the foot switch will not work.......deal with that when the wind is blowing you into a treetop.....my next one will be a MK for sure.....

Did you open the head? last year my brand new one didn't work the second trip so i was PISSED to say the least, I opened up the head and a wire came off one of the terminals. Easy Fix hopefully yours is nothing serious, THEY DON'T GIVE THOSE THINGS AWAY.
