    Default Orange Grove

My daughter and I fished Orange Grove Sunday midday in all the wind. It was a chore but a very nice day spent together. We only caught 5, all males, all dressed up in their tux waiting for the dance to begin. Prettiest fish I've caught in a while. Also caught 3 bass, one going about 3 pounds.

GB Orange Grove is an area of oilfield canals near Houma in south La. Fishing isn't always the best because it's fished hard but then I've caught many a fish there including my largest bass of 7 pounds. It's a great bluegill spot if you don't mind them a little on the small size. There are also some very nice goggle eye in there.

Dwayne, no one was more glad than I that I could put Misty on a few fish. I know well have better days but it was a great one anyway.

Adam it was the water pump but I guess a pump is a pump. The boat ran great. The daughter is all grown up with 2 sons and 3 step children. One day this summer I hope to get the 2 boy out with us to do some gill catching. That should be fun. I'll have to have the handicam ready.

Glad you got to spend some time on the water. Hate that the wind was blowing. Kept me home yesterday.

Rick, with me it was a do or die situation. I only can fish the weekends and have to take what I get.
