I finally got to fish this afternoon...my oldest graduated college yesterday...am very proud of her...one down 2 to go....the blue gill and bass bite was fantastic...they were slamming my poppin bug..not as good as top water speckled trout action...but still fun none the less..also caught a few sacs..it was good to be back on the water...away from the news..and when the Mississippi starts to fall again the fishing should be awesome...still envious of bluethunder...that was a nice stringer of crappie...

Congrats to your daughter Bob and to you for having such a good time. I saw pictures this morning of a two day catch that one of my fellow workers sons caught this week end. Fishing the schoolboard they caught over 30 bass. No detail was given as to the method of catching. I sure wish I could have gotten on the water yesterday after the rain. I bet it would have been a great afternoon bite.
