I'll be at the weigh-in at Ed Stone Park tomorrow (1/26/2018) and Saturday. If any members are gonna be there, see me, tell me your member name, and I'll give you a free bottle of Slabsauce.
I was at the Media Day today. Windy, but we caught some nice ones. Big fish was caught

Just couldn't stand it and needed a few hours out today and these two Gewbers said" sure, why not? It's only supposed to rain." So we met after sunup and headed to Lake Beresford to see what was up. 59* made for a chilly run to the

Not sure if you all know. Mom's dog Lucy passed away a couple months ago. And for this Christmas, Santa decided to get her a new puppy. Take a look at these pics, I think they are gonna get along just fine. Best present ever.
We had a real good morning. But then again, any morning you can catch some nice fish with friends and it ain't snowing, or the water ain't hard is always real good. This is the life, winters in Florida. Seems to be catching on. Met up with doodler and cake lady Wednesday and watched manatee. Today fished with crappie1 and crappie2. Got to love it.
I put this together from a nice Brim Mom caught about a week ago here, before this cold spell came in!
She loves catching these brim, especially monsters like this. Makes me take good care in releasing them too. Hates it when one slips out of my hands

The ziplock baggie you see above was full of Shumeister Molasses Cookies. They are the best dunkin' cookies ever. You know what I mean. Other cookies fall apart when you dunk them, other cookies take forever to pick up the milk, other cookies get over soggy and mushy with no texture. But I'm tellin' you, the Shumeister makes the best dunkin' cookies ever. I got a spot in my boat any time Shu's got cookies

Well, it's not really "No Bananas Guide Service". I thought it was when I first read the decal on the center console. But as Carl explained the "No Bananas" thing to us, I think he really meant it! Bringing Bananas on the boat was bad luck and he wasn't going to have anything to do with that! We were looking to catch some slabs, and he was gosh darn serious about doing just that.

Living through Irma kinda made me wonder about life. Not that I thought I was going to loose my life, but more about all the things we take advantage of in our daily lives. Its been four days now and my home still has no power as I write this.
I live on a canal with well water and a septic field. Without power I don't have running water. I can't take a shower. I have to get lake water to use the bathroom. I guess I'm lucky in that regard. Think of those that can't even flush their toilets. Whew! Even for me, when we would wait before flushing between multiple "number ones", it would stink like the bathroom at a baseball game that went into extra innings!

This is a summary of pics from my trip with Billbob to Mississippi which occurred at the beginning of Aug, 2017. Yep, I'm finally getting around to putting it all together.
I never thought I'd have this hard of a time with letting go of a dog that pissed me off so much, but it certainly was hard to do. This stupid dog has been a pita to me as long I can remember. Threw up all the time, had to eat special food his whole life. Scared of thunderstorms, even when it wasn't even raining.

Went scalloping yesterday with Stik, a MO member who moved to FL. Wifey and I had a great time. Almost got a limit. I tuckered out before we did. It's so cool just swimming along like you're in an aquarium watching all the wildlife. Water was perfect,
