I’ll bet everybody thought that I had been kidnapped, but no one ever wants to kidnap a 76 year old with a hearing impairment. Grin. It has been 9 days since my boat has been in the water and it was getting antsy. So, Mr S. and I took it out

The good: Got on some big crackers this morning at a nearby county water reservoir, using the Tict Ice Cube Rockin' Power, fishing with red wigglers. Caught about 30, and kept a dozen huge ones for supper (most were gut-hooked anyway). These

Jim and I Combo Trolled on Lake Oconee today. The water was 74-80 degrees. I pulled double 1/16 oz jigs with curly tails and slider grubs. Jim pushed single 1/16 oz jigs. We caught fish on Wildcat curly tails, red/white/blue curly tails, black/blue/chart

Back to the real world. Not much down time when you are scheduled every day.
Justin kept saying we need one more good bite. We went to the wire before we culled a .88 with a 1.25. I guess one is always looking for that

I took off work today to do a little fishing and decided to drive down to Cullman and give Duck River a try (hoping to find somewhere out of the wind). I couldn't get an eight pound anchor to hold a 12 foot kayak, crazy bad wind. The good news

So I hollered at Ernie and off we went. Left early, saw Bassman at the ramp. I hope the luck turns around with the new ride. Didn’t want to stay late and neither of us had a full load of steam, but needed to get out for a while and catch up.

The hospitality continues. If you seen Volume III you know I said: The hospitality of of Crappie.com members across this country is second to none.
And yes, as we traveled across the country it certainly did continue.
We arrived at the campground on Okatibbee Lake. The site was already paid for, and the grease was already hot. ScottV had us all set up. Just needed to crack a cold drink and enjoy the fish fry. And on top it all, Scotty had COBBLER! Unbelievably good fish, as

Let me repeat that, The hospitality of of Crappie.com members across this country is second to none.
Billbob and I showed up at Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas, and Nimrod took us fishing. When Mitch from PICO Lures showed up, he also took him fishing. He brought us ice when we needed it, and he brought us some excellent summer sausage. He also brought us "Nimrods Catch" so Billbob could take some pics with her.
We had a great time. Members dko, and Fancyseats showed up to visit. We had a bagpiper veteran camping next to us as well (see video at bottom).
This was my fishing partner for today Shane he is a very sweet and loving 10 year old with Down’s syndrome. I don’t know who had a better time him or me he had been fishing a few times before but had never caught a fish but we changed that

It started off slow at Ross Barnett, and the campground was quiet. There sure were a lot of campers, but no people! Kinda a weird place that way. All the spots filled, but no-one at all out and about!
I'm thinking everyone in the campground was scared and were hiding indoors. So one reason they might be scared was Bigfoot. Therefore we called in the Killing Bigfoot Star, Dondon, to check things out. We filled him in, and all he did was sit and drink from his not so green cup. It was a pleasure to see you Dondon, thanks for the visit, and
