After a few weeks of recovery, I was bent on going fishing.
Did some research, and opted to pass on trolling. I'm still waiting for line to arrive from Rapala, so I can get my dedicated Walleye reels complete.

Hit up horseshoe early Saturday morning found a few fish still spawning in about 4ft if water in the Lilly pads and trees fish were scattered out as they usually do after they spawn never could quite put a solid pattern on them.

Its still chilly here in Maine. This morning was cloudy and cool. A dampness was in the air. We only managed 13 but they were nice. We released them all to grow up. The water temps are still mid forty degree so the fish are staying tight lipped.

Got a short late morning trip to the lake in today. Two of my sons went with me, they’ve been begging. Caught a decent few to give to papa. They had a good time.
