Only 2' above summer pool now but they are pulling a lot of water. Anyone have any thoughts? I am thinking about heading out Friday morning but not sure if I am wasting my time.

I am going to wait till this evening and go with the wife. Both batteries were low this morning because I thought they were still charged but to my surprise, they were not. She likes going and it gives us time alone without the kids since all four are out of town this weekend. The God's are smilling on me and hopefully the crappie Gods will be also.

Got to the lake just as the storm came in. Everyone else was leaving the lake as we were coming on. Had the lake all to ourselves until the Friday nigt bas tournament came out. They were no bother and was actually pretty good conversation talking to them as they trolled by to their next spot. We caught 17 crappie keepers. All were in the 9 to 10 inch size range. Only got to stay out till 11:00 but looking forward to next Friday night.
