    Default Anybody been on Nolin?

I'm going to try Nolin for the first time this year on Saturday. I know the water has been up like every where else but curious if anyone has fished it lately and had a report or any pointers?

Can't help you there Creeker, but I was originally going to come down and camp at Nolin to give it a try over spring break week. I read a lot of threads on this site before making the decision to try Kentucky/Barkley again (fished Kentucky back in '05). Make sure you let us know how you do :D

I crossed the dam on Nolin last Week, and it looked like chocolate milk. I have never seen it this color. It is usally a nice blue green color. Let us know how it works out. I am planning on trying it some this year.

My Dad opened his cabin this week and fished on Wednesday and had one crappie. Water was stained and 50 degrees in Rock creek and they are pulling it hard. I'm off the next two weeks, but I may have to make a trip to Weiss to warm up and catch some fish. It needs to warm up and quit raining for a few days. Good Luck

Thanks for all of the replies. I lost one of my fishing partners this weekend and fishing had to be put on hold. I will post a report when I'm able to get down.

The old man went out again Friday and only caught two. It is tough right now.
