Thanks for the report, I doubt I'll get a chance to go but it's good to see someone catching them.

    Take care,
    Greenfish

    Thumbs up Thanks Arca ...

... glad to see that the rains haven't done too much damage to T-ville.

Did the fish looked spawned out, or were they just getting going ?? Were they healthy keepers (>11") or just keepers ?? All White Crappie or were some Blacks mixed in ??

I may get a shot at it, in a few days, and this info would help me determine where they are, and how far along they are (in the seasonal progression).

You left, being one fish shy of a limit ... what's up with that :p ... did you run out of minners, or time ?

By the way ... did you happen to notice any surface activity (fish busting Shad on surface) ??

take care, my friend ... and keep up the reports !!

    ... cp

Hey CP most of the ones i caught were black only three were 9'' most were 10.5 and strong. the blacks had spawned and the few whites were full of eggs.I think the main spawn is over or at least tailing off. These came off the same brush as last weeks fish but with the clearer water and the passing cold front they were further from the bank and 4' deeper.Tried back in the creeks in shallow water with no luck everything i caught was in sight of the marina in the mouth of the creek to the north of settlers.
luck to ya may see out there

oh i was out of minners

The wife & I fished Taylorsville on 4-4 Monday and could not get a fish out in deeper water. We caught 11 fishing 4' deep in 6' of water. All were blacks except one and probably 8 of them still had eggs that was not developed all the way yet. Guess there is still some stragglers.
