    Default Blood River, okay...now what

The high water has really flubbed me up. Me and a bud have fished the last two afternoons after work without much luck. Where are the crappie? We have fished a few spots around Hooper Hollow and Sheep Ridge and only caught a few small crappie. Is it about over? Have all the fished moved deep due to water quickly rising? Are they all in Crappie Hollow? I figured we would hammer them since the water is in the upper 60s, but we had more luck when it was in the upper 50's. Where are the fish and what are the techniques people are using right now? Is the spawn about over or not really started yet? Any help would be appreciated.

One of my coworkers wore them out down around Dover last Saturday while fishing a bass tournament. He was catching them in the flooded bushes on spinnerbaits and bass jigs.

It figures that the things would go shallow right about the time the weather and water levels went to pot.

I suspect that this high water has them scattered everywhere and now that they are pulling the heck out of it, they will pull back to deeper brushpiles and develop lockjaw.
