I caught her in a deep clear reservior here in fleming co.. There isnt a public boat ramp but there are a couple places u can back the boat down. Its around 100 acres but is VERY deep and super clear which makes it kinda tough 2 fish. Not much cover and very little good structure. I usually long-line troll or that day I was trying out my new homemade spider rigs when I started finding em' shallow and started casting for em'. It holds some hogs though, all black crappie, Ive never caught one under 11 there EVER, and usually they are around 13-14 inches, but it's hard to find em' concentrated w/out looking for em' w/ the finder in deeper water. Its fun to go fish there after probing the muddy river for crappie so much.![]()

My personal best is a 15.5 incher. That is a fish of a lifetime. I believe I know where you are talking about. I never knew there were that kind of fish in that lake. I don't venture far from the river valley.
