Wiskers, Bandit here. I now where the pictures were taken. Is that a picture of you or a buddy? I use the ramp several times a year bass fishing. I hope to run into you some time and say hello. Black Nitro with a 115 Merc. in a white Chevy truck or a Green Jimmy.
THE BANDIT
Hey Whiskers...I fished the same bay as you the day you took these.....I was the only one spider riggin that south bank all day.....I found em in 10 ft early...then in 14 ft. later in the day...
I had 17 by the time my wife got there at 5:00.. then ended up with 21 before dark......
Cooked em for the guys at work today......some baked with lemon pepper...some fried....
Man I like that spider riggin! I caught a ton of little fish that day if I went shallower than 14' to 15'. They were off & on. Got some nice fish on up the lake.
I just got back from fry'n fish for about 50 kinfolk myself. Man, if I see another fish I think I'll throw up! Good lord that's alota work! Of course I'm talk'n bout eat'n! :D
I gotta catch the boat Tueseday so I might try to get in 1 more day before I leave. I bet this cold front knocks'um in the head though! :(
Hey Whiskers what boat do you work on. I saw the Ingram hat on your head. Do you run the Ohio?
The reason I ask is I see lots of Ingram boats up here where I live. I work at one of the many coal fired power plants (East Kentucky Power- Spurlock Station) here along the Ohio river and live a good 5 wood away from the waters edge myself. About 60 miles east of Cincy.
From Kentucky Lake, Malcolm Creek area last week. My personal best, 14".
