    Default Blood River 4/29/09

Fished Blood River this morning, fish were pretty scattered. Ended up catching 7 keepers and about twice as many short ones. Keepers ran pretty big though, none shorter than 11", 5 of 7 were 13" or longer. The big one was a white female still stuffed full of eggs that went a little over 15".The black females I cleaned still had some eggs but appeared to have dropped most of them. Caught em over brush/stumps in 8-10fow on yellow/chart and red/chart jigs tipped with minnows.

On my sonar it started at 68.5 and when I left was between 70.5 to as high as 72 in one spot.
