Barkley Report

Just back from Barkley today. Litttle River is heavily stained but fishable. Water temp got to 68 on Monday. Started fishing Sat. afternoon and only managed 5 keepers before dark. On Sunday I found fish in brushpiles in 10 ft. of water, caught around 50 with only had 12 keepers but they were big fish though. They were all whites and had dropped most of there eggs. Probably could have caught more but the wind wouldn't let up for me to fish the places that I wanted. On Monday decided to fish shallow and that turned out great. My wife and myself ended up with 40 really nice fish crappie. We were fishing 1 ft. deep in 2 to 3 feet of water.
