Good day at Rough
Got 23 keepers at Rough on Saturday. A few of them were good 12" fish.

Fished in Walter Creek for the most part. Clear water had me stumped for a while till I tried shallow water with a light grey hair jig under a cork. The jig had a little flash in it which I believe was helping in the clear water.
Some of the fish had eggs but it did not look like they were ready to pop. I would say another week to 10 days, just a guess.
One of the things that surprised me was there were very few boats on the lake for a Saturday. Had most spots to myself. Turkey hunting I guess.
