    Default Citations on Kincaid Lake

Anyone else heard any rumors of the fish and wildlife issuing warning tickets for anyone with a boat over 18.5 feet. Saw it on another site.

yea it is true, i was talking to my uncle yesterday who has a 19 + foot ranger and he got a warning. he said the guy told him that the first time they stop you it is a warning, then the every time after that it is a 200 dollar fine. and he got the warning on kincaid, but the official told him that also goes for boltz, elmer davis, bullock pen, corinth and a couple of others. my uncle said a guy in his club just bought a brand new boat and he got his warning the same day, his new boat is 2 inches to long. apparently there are quite a few fisherman writing to frankfort complaining about it. i dont see whay they are worried about the size of boat on the lake, what they really need to enforce are the horsepower limits. in my opinion they should make most of the lake unlimited horsepower/no wake like aj jolly. here is another thing the gov. does that makes no sense, they cant put a 19 foot bass boat on there but you can have a 24 foot pontoon on there. it cracks me up
