I'll be fishing it w/ my dad and daughter. I'm really looking forward to getting to fish a tournament w/ 3 generations in the boat as I grew up fishing w/ my dad and grandpa....pretty cool that they allow a youth w/ two adults in Crappie USA! Something to look back at when I'm an old man...plan on taking lots of pics. It's also really nice to be able to launch and load where you want as I'm scared to enter bass tournaments w/ my dad or daughter as I would hate to make a long run and have some strong North or South winds come up w/ either of them in the boat.

I met you last year very briefly as I was in my boat taking fish out of the livewell at the tournament, but was busy and didn't get to speak to you much more than just "hello". Good luck to you and (I believe it is your son)!:D

Just curious as to what the typical payout is? I understand that it is probably dependent on how many register, but just a ballpark would be fine. I checked the crappie usa website and it didn't list it or have it in the tournament results.

I would be interested in fishing some tournaments but only if i knew the payouts would actually cover my expenses of getting liscenses, hotels, gas, and minners.

If you are fishing it for the payout I'm not sure I would fish it. I can't remember the payout schedule, but it is nothing compared to the bass tournaments I fish. However, if you enjoy competition and want to have some fun and a chance to win a little money I think it is a great time.

It's over King. It was out of Paris Landing. Check out Crappie Usa websight.

I don't fish tournments but I think the "3 person rule" is a great idea that CrappieUSA came up with.
