    Default Wide Open Weekend

I get to go to Taylorsville Friday for a good part of the day, so if anyone has any thoughts on what is going on on that lake let me know. Saturday and Sunday is wide open. I am not wanting to drive all the way to KY Lake but was leaning towards Rough River. Anyone fishing there lately. I am guessing this is the weekend to be on the water.

Taylorsville is muddy and has the bite slowed. Little Beech Creek had clearer water when I was there last week and I caught a few....I'm going to Rough tomorrow at Axtel and fish Tules Creek....

Now I am really questioning what to do. It should be the perfect weekend weather wise but if they are drawing a ton of water at Taylorsville then that sucks and if Rough is already over summer pool that isn't much better. I am heading out to T-Ville around 8:00am and will fish for about 6 hours. Hopefully I can catch 15. Saturday I am taking the wife out on a romantic date to Rough River. Hopefully we can bag about 60 then. Good luck to all of you this weekend.

Lucky Guy! I can't get my wife near my boat if there's fish in it!

Because of the strong wind I moved my date with the wife to Taylorsville. We knew we wouldn't catch any fish but didn't want to sit around the house. I get my wife to go with a good sandwich, a few cold beers for her, and a promise of a good tan. She just kicks back and lays out and catchs fish if they are biting but focuses on the tan if they aren't. Heading back this Friday but taking the two boys this time.
