I was wondering if anyone has fished or seen the lake in the last day or two and if you knew the current water conditions.

    Thanks

Today...Water at Settlers Trace coves were muddy muddy muddy! Temps about 60 to 62 degrees....I once hit 64 degrees in a shallow spot. They were pulling the lake hard. Went up Little Beach Creek and water cleared up some. Took most of the day to catch my twelve! Casting weedless jigs around blowdowns and logs near banks. By the way Crappiepappy those P&S y-guards performed flawlessly.....Never lost the first jig and I was in some serious trash!

They are 'da bomb' ... in my book !!

I think this upcoming rain may hold the temps down, keep the water muddied up, and maybe bring the lake up. That's going to mess with things for the next week or so .... but, hopefully it will be OK for the May 2nd get together.

I had to work today but Dad went and had 5 good ones but left at around 10 am. I didn't get any details but it sounds like it was tough over there. Glad you got 12 Wichita, sounds like you earned them.

    Take care,

Greenfish, It took all day but with that sunshine I didn't complain. Gonna try and get back out there Thursday and Friday after this rain passes.
