Hello fellow crappie fisherman,and women.
New to the site.
Making a family trip to kentucky lake may 2, any tips as far as where to fish specifics, and how to. We fish the big mississippi in illinios, not sure if tactics are the same. Any help would be appreciated

May should be prime time for some good bluegill and shellcracker action. Get some crickets and worms and fish them on the bottom of sandy, gravel areas where creek channels are coming into the coves. Crappie will be on their way back out to deeper water after spawning. You might find some white crappie still in spawning areas around stumps and brush piles.
