    Default Sauger On KY River


    Has anyone caught any Sauger on KY river. I have been reading where they have been stocked. I don't know anything about Sauger but saw a clip on KY Afield and it looked interesting. Would not mind trying it out if anyone had any info.

    They are there but the dam at gratz or called lockport and the monterey dam they have been catching a few. So ive heard have not fished them since last summer. If you do go to any of these spillway dams watch getting on top of these dams ive heard they are ticketing people. There is also the Markland dam on the ohio river , if you are in Indy there is a Larenceburg Indiana, I just saw the area you are from.

    Thanks for the info. I am at Lawrenceburg KY. Right on the KY river but I have never had my boat on it.

    Crappie Dave! I was talking with the folks at Lake Cumberland Outdoors (Burnside), and they told me that people were catching the heck out of sauger and walleye below Wolfe Creek Dam on Lake Cumberland. I might give it a try if I can get there this week.
