with having KY/Barkley drawn in ... is that others may like to have their "home lakes" or favorite lakes shown, as well. That'd be kinda difficult to have, seeing as how the Crappie image would cover a large portion of the state's background and block out alot of them. But, I'll go with the majority rule, once we get a poll done.
Let's have some more "possibles" (examples) to look over, and then we can poll to see which ones we favor the most.
I'll give you budding artists another week or so to submit your designs, and we can critique and tweak as we go along. I can't draw a straight line, so I'll leave the designing up to those that are better at it than me :p
We all want a real snazzy looking decal, that we'd be proud to display on our boats or vehicles ... so let's not sacrifice quality for speed.
Even if you can't draw or design .... post your "ideas" on what you'd like. It may give someone else a killer idea ;)

don't pull out. We'd all like to have a Kentucky decal, and the more ideas the better. I'm just having fun with this because I love the sport, and I want to support all of us and crappie.com. Like CP said, anyone out there that has an idea, SEND IT IN! Lord knows my feelin's ain't gonna be hurt. I want a KY decal on my boat, and I don't care who designs it. I'd just like to have one on my boat (and truck). I knew I shoulda stayed with the laundry.:)

I'd like to see the fish a little bigger even covering parts of the state borders but all the works looks nice!!!!

I am looking for a good picture of a Crappie to post on the decal. I don't have one of up close. Don't really like what I am finding on the internet.
Any of you guys got some good pictures that can be used for the decal?
What would you all think of the white decals that you see on the back window of people cars or would you like color????
Just trying to get ideas for myself and anyone else that is putting something together.

I agree with what you said about having KY lake drawn in. Many of us fish other areas so I would prefer to keep it generic to the whole state. I'd be putting mine on my truck and boat - and maybe my office door at the church (if I could get away with it).
THEHINES--Google and then search images. There are several to look at.
CP and all; the lakes can come off as easy as they went on. Thehines, the crappie I used was a "googled" image (and could be better), the state came from the Microsoft Publisher clipart section, and it was all put together in Photoshop. It was just something fun to do. Have at it. :D
you could throw in another lake in the middle. Like Dale or Barren?

I use a program called GIMP, it is a free download. Fishless, I was joking, you did a great job in a short amount of time, keep it up. I don't know if my work will allow me any extra time to work on it.
No problems here. Fish with you anytime (if we can ever get any warm weather). :) Still would like to see where this thing goes, and to see a lot more ideas.
please try and get them posted by next Thursday !! I will take all the ideas, that we've come up with by then, and put them to the vote.
Remember ... you don't have to submit an actual picture design, you can also submit your ideas in words. We should have enough people to be able to get those ideas in print, if they should happen to be voted as one of the top picks.
We want SERIOUS SUGGESTIONS ONLY !! There are some really nice looking state decals out there, and we want ours to be as good or better, and one we can all be proud to display.

Well done my friend. If I could have got off work I would have tried to compete... Glad I didn't. My vote is going to the one on the top right. I like the Black Crappie look better than the other three.
