Blood River Last Weekend

The air was cold, the rain was colder, the water was really muddy, and the fish weren't where I was fishing! Never got a bite fishing manmade piles 8' to 23' of water? Never saw anyone on Blood, but did speak to a couple boats on the LBL side and neither had put a fish in the boat either.....weird day, but did enjoy watching some eagles catch some fish.

Same here, my last trip to Blood was the day after Christmas, caught one dink. From Wildcat out was a mud pie. Only two other boats in the bay and they were like us, did lots of moving around to different tops. Maybe things will pick up now since they have stopped spilling at Kentucky dam.

Forget what i said, I guess the Corp. is going to drain the lake. They are back to spilling with the lake below winter pool.
