League of Ky. sportsmen?

This post is a spinoff of a post by acgriggs. In a few of those posts the L.K.S. was mentioned. I was curious about this org. and googled them. The only info I found was that they elected a high ranking member of the Sierra club as vice pres in June(check out their website for a scare) and a video of a meeting where it looked like they were voting on and passing laws(google video 2006). Them wanting to close off the backs of the major bays caught my attention and I will be contacting KDF to voice my disapproval. I'm real curious about their agenda and their power to push their agenda. I thought it strange that they did'nt have a website, seemed secretive to me.

Just keep in mind if you have one of the KY license plates with the deer head on it, then you are supporting this group with a $10.00 donation each year that the plates are renewed. But, you can decline to make the $10.00 donation at the county clerks office when you renew. Thats what I did, I just like the looks of the plate.
