    Default Introduction

Hello, First of all I have been looking at your site now for at least a year and finally decided to register. I appreciate all of the great info, and look forward to chatting with you folks. Personal Info-I live in Bullitt County Kentucky near Mt. Washington. I'm about 20 minutes from Taylorsville Lake where I fish occasionally , but I like to fish Kentucky Lake, about 200 miles to the west. Next week I am going to Lake Talquin Fla.,with a couple of friends, and try to catch some slabs. I have a 2003 Lund 1675 with a 90hp Mercury Fourstroke.I retired a little over 4 years ago, and can't wait to get my four year old Grandson started Crappie fishing. Again thanks for the info, fishing reports, and interesting stories.

Thanks lungbuster, I normally fish from Big Bear to the North at Kentucky Lake(I have a friend who lives in the area). I also like to fish the Blood River area when I get the chance.

    Exclamation Welcome aboard, Speck-Chaser ....

looking forward to hearing about your Taylorsville journies. I've fished that lake since it opened. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to fish it very much over the last few years. It's a great little lake, and the Crappie are there ... if you can hit it when it's stable. My best catch of Crappie from T-ville was a limit of 15 fish that weighed 10lbs. They almost looked like they were cut from the same mold :p

    Hello SpeckChaser,
I live in Muhlenberg County near Lake Malone. I spent a week fishing Talquin about 3 years ago in Feb. Different time of year but I will be glad to share any info that I learned about the lake with you. If you want to call me send me a PM and I will give you my cell number. Have Fun! It is a great lake.

Good to have ya on board Speckchaser. I fish T-ville quite a bit mainly because its relatively close, but prefer Ky lake. Be sure to post your results even on the bad days. Good luck to ya and hope you get a few good ones in Fl.

    Take care,
    Greenfish

Welcome. Go to the GA forum. They do a lot of fishing on Talquin. There is a slabfest on Talquin on 12/5. Come on down.
