Nice job. I personally haven't gotten into feather angling but my elder son loves it. Great to see the two of you having a great time together. Keep smiling!!!

My son wanted to go out today for an afternoon of early goose season here in KY. I hustled to get off work in time to make it back home, get my gear and drive the 30 minute drive.
Needless to say it was worth it. We each shot a goose and they both were banded. This is the first jewlery for either one of us. He had a good idea.

CrappieGeorge
It is absolutely about getting the youth outside in any form we can. Congrats on the bling and keep up the together time.
This kid definately has not lacked in being outside. He's been going with me since he was about 4 years old.
He killed his first deer at 7, first turkey at 8, first deer with a bow at 10, won two state archery championships, shot a 250 lb. wild boar with his bow at 12, killed an antelope in Wyoming with a bow at 16, shot ducks and geese in Ky, Ill, and Mo, and has killed several turkey with a bow.
His two favorite things are waterfowl and crappie fishing. He is a sophmore at college now and he is going to schedule his spring semester as to not interfere with the spring crappie season. He is taking an accounting class and said there is no way he would become an accountant. I asked why, thinking he didint' like the class, he replied that it would interfere with the spring crappie fishing.
