Cedar Creek Today

2 of my girls and I went to Cedar this morning. Bobber fished minnows 10 ft deep from 9-noon. Brought home 28 crappie. Had to fight thru the yearling bass who were hungry for minnows! Both the 14 yr old and the 16 yr old beat dad today!! Bass were between 9 and 15 inches and we caught as many of them as we did crappie. the crappie we kept were all between 8 and 11 inches.

Tried to post pic but cant them to up load. File is too big! All fish were caught around the island.

TB- First off---Glad you were able to fish with your children! At that age it's sometimes hard to get them to go along with old dad. That's a pretty good day in the middle of summer.
What part of the lake were you fishing for those monsters?

we were fishing around the island across form the middle launch!
Yep, since they are still wanting to go,,,,,I will take them every chance i can!
