That's a meal :p (though, I think I'd have used the Drum for garden fertilizer :D .... I've eaten them before)
They should start turning on good when the weather starts cooling down. I have caught them, in good numbers/size, from late Sept thru Nov. Usually about 6-8ft deep, right down in the middle branches of standing cedar trees, that were in 15-30ft of water. I used minners under a slip float, back then ... so that should tell you that this info is "ancient history" :p Nonetheless, if it worked then, it will probably work now
