Was out at tville Sunday in the heat of the day. We fished for bluegill on the shorelines for my daughter. She doesn't have the patience for summer crappie fishing so we go after the dink bluegill for her.

I was throwing a jig for the bigger gills and had a suspend pole with a green/chartruse jig. I caught a 9 inch crappie on the suspend pole. Lite bite but a good fight for it's size.

A nice surprise since I wasn't expecting it. I've got the fever for more. I don't know why, but one crappie had me so tore up, my wife was laughing at me.

I'd rather catch one crappie than 10 bass.

We weren't keeping any, so the lone Tville crappie is waiting on you to go catch him again.
