    I am embarassed, purchased a 997 last month, mounted it on my carolina skiff, but have not had the time to play with it on the water. Been researching for the last three months. It is a great tool, I payed $1657.00 for mine.

    Good luck. It is worth it.

    I have a 797si and love it . when my ship comes in i will put it on the bow and a 997 on the console.
