Anybody been to Rough river or Nolin crappie fishing

Any fishing reports for Crappie?

Fished Nolin today, didn't get started till after the storm. We ended up with 19 nice fish and several of those were about 11 inches. The sun came out and it got tough, didn't catch much after that.

Kytrailerman, what part of nolin. do you remember the water temp. and the depth you were fishing...

we fished rough on memorial weekend. I had my kids (5 & 3), nephew and wife. I did more baiting hooks and taking off fish than fishing myself. We did catch about 8 to 10 crappie but all except one was small. Caught all of them while we were bluegill fishing in shallow water near brush. Rough was up about ten feet then.

I started at Wax and went up the river, 5-10 ft deep mostly on the channel bank using jigs.
