    Default Whats floating on Kentucky Lake ?


    I have been seeing white blobs floating all over KY. Lake. Someone said they are mussels but I can't get anyone to confirm that they are mussels. Any one know or see them? They look like flowering blooms until you pick one up and they feel just like some kind of mussels without the shell. ?????

    Its the meat out of mussel shells. They die off. And the meat floats to the top. Sure hate the die off is this early this year.
