Of the 10 I caught only one was a male. Eggs looked great, no mush and a few with red veigns. Is it possible this late for a small spawn. Conditions were text....66 degrees females in 8 ft of water. But another round of rain coming in. Just wandering what the extreme limits were. Everything I caught was full of eggs, crappie, cats, and gills. Hmmmm. still studying.

Under more normal conditions, or at least the "normal" conditions I've faced in years past ... Crappie in T-ville have generally had the bulk of their spawn in the first couple of weeks of May. They seem to like the 8ft depth range, too
Since they haven't had much of a chance to spawn, so far this year, and with this cooler weather ... you "might" see a spawn there. Provided they don't get flooded again, or the temps don't jump up and get hot & stay there, it could still happen. It is the spawning season for all of those species, so it might get interesting (and a little crowded :p ) over the next week or two ... again, provided the lake doesn't get flooded back into the trees.
