Kentucky Lake, Blood River Maybe????

Hey guys, i am a Kentucky boy, but I mostly fish on Reelfoot. I went fishing KY lake down around Paris a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Never fished any other part of Ky lake.

My question is this. I have a meeting at 1:00 tommorrow in Murray. Should not last too long. I thought about bringing my boat and trying Blood River but I do not even know where the ramp is. I sure would appreciate any tips on general locations to try. I primarily spider rig, but I am also set up to longline jigs.

Is is worth trying? Any advice. I will gladly trade out Reelfoot info.

You can launch at Wildcat or Irvin Cobb......either can be found by google search. Last weekend they were catching them from the mouth of Blood half way back in roughly 18' of water spiderriging and I saw some limits coming in, but the guys that were catching them know the area well and the vacationing folks were struggling.

Go to whitepages.com. Type in Irvin Cobb Resort. That way you can get a map and driving directions from wherever you are coming from. As for the fishing you better listen to Casey. Good luck!
