If you have a scanner, then you can scan film photo's into your computer. Once there, usually in a "photo's folder" on your hard drive, you can then pick a hosting site to store copies of those photos. I use Photobucket, but there are many others. Photobucket has a free version, which is the one I use. The pay for version has more editing capabilities & storage space ... but, I have 101 photos in my Photobucket album, and haven't reached my limit yet (if there even is a limit). I recommend using a hosting site, even though you CAN post pictures directly from your computer (using the "paperclip" icon, above the message space). The reason is, simply because things can go wrong with your computer, and those photos can get lost or destroyed. With a hosting site, your photos are safe and can be retrieved if something happens to your computer.
Once you open a free account at Photobucket.com ... choose the image size as : Large Size 640x480 ... upload the pictures from your computer into your Photobucket album ... left click on the IMG Code line (below the picture), and your picture is "copied" ... come to the site and right click in the Message box, making sure that you hit the "Enter" key twice, between the text of your message and the picture's address ... choose "paste" from the dropdown box, that appears when you right click in the message box ... and your picture's image address will appear in the text. You can then click on "Preview Post" to see the results, and then "Submit Reply" if you're satisfied with the way the post looks.
The process of moving pictures from your computer to Photobucket to here, is pretty simple ... but, you do have to follow the step by step process in the correct order. It's fairly intuitive, but if you have questions or problems, PM me and I'll walk you through it.
