Three of us caught 168 Sat and Sun. Sat. the fish were in 8 to 10ft. and Sunday we caught most of them 5ft or less..Light colors worked best!
Isn't that a little over the limit?
not to bad just 48 if i can count rigth but i could be off by 48 or so
catching and keeping are two entirely different things. I would reserve judgement till I had the facts about the situation.
That's a darned sight better than anyone else that I've talked to did this weekend... by a long shot.
If he was in TN (which I suspect he was) the limit there is still 30 a day.
We went from the 17th to the 19th. Our group fished Jonathan Creek and we only averaged 12 to 15 keepers a day, and we did better than most of the people we seen at the end of the day cleaning fish at the lodge. Talked with people on Sunday and they started to get into them on Sunday. Most of our fish were caught in less than 6 feet of water with minnow near the brush. We caught black & white crappie and females in the same areas. I think next year I am just going to put a GPS on Slabmaster's boat and just follow him around.
I have been skunked before only to get home and help my neighbor fillet a big mess of fish. That's why it's called fishing and not catching.I'm sure he wasnt doing what everyone else was as I have never seen a tie in Bassmaster's.I'd like to follow him around too.I dont think i'm too old to learn a lesson or 2.
my bad i was at the under standing that tenn when to a 15 per day limt . i was told that early this year . thats y we have been fishing ken. if thats not right please let me know .
if im not wrong the tenn fish and game book said that . like i said sorry bout that
but, Tenn creel limit is still 30 Crappie/day/person (on KY Lake) ... only KY's creel limit was changed to 20 Crappie/day/person. Now, that's on KY Lake ... as some Tenn lakes did have a creel limit reduction, put into effect in the last couple of years. Watts Bar, in East TN, for instance ... went from 30/day/person to 15/day/person. Statewide, in TN, the creel limit is 15 fish/day with a 10" size limit ... with exceptions on certain lakes. Same deal here in KY ... statewide there's a 30fish creel limit, and no size limit ... but, on certain lakes, there is a size limit and the creel limit is less.
There is no "one size fits all " regulation on creel limits, in either state ... so you'd best know the rules for whatever lake you're fishing on

I'm sorry, I should have said I was fishing the tenn. part of the lake.. sure wish I was down there right now instead of sitting here at school testing these little childrens!!!
