Dale Hallow Crappie??

Does anyone out there know if there are any crappie bitting on Dale. I did not get to take my dad to Kentucky Lake this year and was looking for someplace new a little closer to home. I would like to put the ol man on a few slabs if I could somewhere. We usually fish green but he just likes a change of scenery. We have caught a few nice crappie while bluegill fishing in the summer so I know there are some nice ones in there somewhere.

Things are running way behind. The Crappie are still scattered in deep water.Due to Fronts,Turn over, ect -the fishing is bad right now!Should turn on in a week or so .Look out then!!!

Thanks Dennis. I guess will give Green a try. We only have time to fish every once and a while so I try to plan our trips as best I can. When you can't pick the day you can fish, sometimes you just have to go rain, hail, sleet, snow or just stay home.
