Default If a couple of guys wanted

If a couple of guys wanted to hook up on the side closest to I75 where would he meet. I would be coming North on I 75 from Tn and the other guy would be coming South out of Ohio. We would like to find good crappie fishing close to a rental cabin on Kentucky Lake

Not sure about your "hookup plans" ... but, I75 is in East Tn and KY Lake is in West KY

You're about 5hrs from Aurora, KY (mid KY Lake area). Where in Ohio is the other guy ?? I'm about 5hrs from KY Lake (via Bluegrass Parkway), and I'm in Lexington, Ky The other guy, depending on how far into Ohio he's coming from, is looking at 6.5hrs or better (considering he comes from/thru Cincy, to Lexington, & gets on BG Parkway).
You guys would probably spend less travel time, if you just drove to KY Lake, seperately, and met at a specific place on the lake.

You do know that KY/Barkley Lakes are flooded , with more rains predicted in the area (and North of there, around the Ohio River/Mississippi River drainage region) ... so the lakes are probably not going to be anywhere near "normal", for some time. But, be that as it may ... if the lakes "stay" flooded, you CAN find Crappie around the flooded live trees along the bank (been there, done that). Finding a suitable launching facility would be your biggest problem

    ... cp

For several years a buddy from Wr Robbins GA would just take I-24 and meet us in Aurora, KY. I was coming from N/W PA. Took 71 S to 75. Got on the WK parkway to 62E. Too him 5 hours. Took me 11, pulling my boat. 9 without it.
I'd say just pick a hotel, lodge, or motel, and meet him there.
