Default Skunked the first time on Malone

My wife and I went out on Malone after I got off work. I tried to fish one of the back creeks and some of the docks... I just wetted my lines...

It was the first time I have ever been on there. Anybody want to give up some spots out there????:D:D

I am going in the morning, when I get back I will let you know if the spots are still hitting.

Let me know if you do any good, I might try it next weekend if they are hitting, I have only crappie fished one time and have never caught any down there, caught a few bluegill.

    Unhappy

Tough day on malone, Found some gills but the wind was terrible. As we were leaving the last cove, a 7 or 8 year old boy with his dad landed a 12inch LM Bass. he was very happy. Everyone we talked to said it was a bad day for them also!

Was the water muddy? I talked to a guy at work that said there was a tournament this past weekend and 18 won it with a 8 something big fish. If I remember correctly

The water was extremly muddy on the Shadycliff side. You could find some less murky water in the back of some coves, but you couldn't get out of the wind anywhere. There were several bass guys out yesterday, but all they were doing was moving around. Looked like they were trying to find them and not having any luck either.

Well glad to hear that is wasn't just me. I still have a bunch of wooden stakes if anyone want to put out some beds over there.
