Was wanting to go with some friends to Malone tomorrow (Friday) and wanted to gtet an idea on conditions for the lake.
Mainly is it up and muddy or is it a little slower to get muddy than some other lakes?

CrappieCrazy, are you still interrested in putting out some condos on malone?
Yes I am!
What type of condos will ya'll be putting out?
Malone was muddy and churned to a froth by the wind. Managed one small bass and that was it. Had a hard time keeping the boat in one place. The water was downright coffee colored on the main lake while back in the very back of coves and creeks the water was a touch clearer and just very murky with visibility of approx. 10 inches. Gave up fishing and took my wife on a boat ride and picnic up to shady cliff. Taught her how to drive the boat adn she tried her hand at trailering it for me. Fihsing was poor to say the least but we had a nice day overall.
Have you tried drake's creek any, have thought about trying it sometime if it was worth it.
If malone was coffee with cream colored, then the creek was straight black coffee colored. I knew better than to even get the boat in there. Last week I did fair down there in some spots I know of. I usually fish down there 3-4 times a week with good weather.
