Default Need a current KY Lake Report ASAP!

Anybody been on the lake the last couple of days? Work schedule opened up and I'm headed to Blood River tomorrow night and need an idea what the fish are doing. Murray's site is locked up and I can't see the current water temps or lake levels, but I'm guessing muddy and high! Please help if anyone has current info.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Went yesterday to Johnathan. Little jonathan is really muddy with a lot of trash floating, tried it for a little while and caught one. Went to the other side and ended up with a dozen keepers.

A friend of mine went today to Blood River and said it was bad muddy toward the back, he caught most fish at the mouth. Water temp was 45. Looks like the water is going to be at 360.5 by friday.

Hey Mark did you catch those forty at our mutual spot?
    Put em in the sack!!!

    Wink Hot Tip

Rising water & warm weather = shallow fish. Went tuesday and caught fish fishing stake beds 3' deep in 5' to 6' of water. Went today and caught fish 2' deep casting a jig under a bobber around the flooded trees and buck brush in about 3' of water. They hit it like they were pissed! :D A buddy of mine caught 13 nice fish today spider riggn 3' deep in 4' & 5' of water.

    I've got'um cornered now!

    Default Yep

    Hey SLAYEM
Yea, that's where we caught 'em and it's also where we fished 9 hours Mon. and caught 4...LOL...ya never know. All this high water is making our spots hard to fish, especially if there's any wind. Probably time to pack in the winter time pattern and look a little shallower.
    See ya

You can bet your crappie rod on that!

Went again today and caught 23 and culled down to 20 good keepers. Same as yesterday. Black/red/white was hot today. Also had 14 BIG yellowbelly stripes and 3 bass that went around 3# each! Boy you should have seen the faces on those bass fishermen when I drug the felet knife thru those bass! They were all practicing for the big bass tourny this weekend. One of them said " That could be the fish that wins the tournament for me!" I hit the trigger on the knife and said " Not this one. He's go'n on the grill!"

I like to use Shore Lunch breading mix. Not sure if you've heard of it, but has just the right seasonings in it.

I use the electric filet knife as well. My daughter cleaned up her first fish using it last year. First one was as nice as her last one. It's fast and fool proof.
